Why is it important to know about mass and volume? How many types of substances are there? What are acids and bases? The answers will be revealed through guided inquiry.
Upon completion of this 4-week unit of study, designed to meet the National Science Education Standards for "Properties and Changes of Properties in Matter", students may submit their "essential question" answers to Ciencia Viva, Inc. Each submission receives a scored critique from a professional science educator.
